Here is my band’s new song:
This is the last song we release from our first EP. Now we need to find some people to play those songs.
Tuesday evening, 8:30 PM, time for a little run to MacCarren Park. After a few rounds, I hear police cars hauling from a certain distance on my way back home. The closer I get to Bushwick Avenue, the more police cars I see pacing and blinking through the streets.
Near Moore Street (=home) I see yellow tape prohibiting access to the 385 Bushwick Avenue projects, and the smell of fireworks…which actually must have been the smell of the shooting that just happened less than a mile away from where I live.
Also, about 50 cops, at least 15 police cars surrounding the projects and of course, some journalists on site:
